Client story

500+ apartments, one map that filters them all.

A custom-coded component on 1:37's existing Framer website that shows every building and apartment on a Mapbox map, with live availability and filters.

01 · Problem

A portfolio too big to browse as a list.

After the move to Framer, 1:37 had more than 500 apartments on the site. A single building could hold 50 of them, some already reserved or sold. Visitors had no way to see where properties were, or what was still available in a building, without opening listings one by one.

Framer had no native API for this at the time, and its built-in components couldn't handle one-to-many collections with filters on a map.

02 · What we built

A custom component inside the site they already had.

01

Mapbox property map

Every property placed on the map, with markers grouped into numbered clusters as you zoom out.

02

Filter logic

Search plus seven filters that update the list and the map together, including availability per apartment.

03

One-to-many data

Buildings and their apartments read as linked records, so a building shows what's still available inside it.

04

Desktop and mobile views

List and map side by side on desktop; a map/list switch on mobile, with its own layout logic.

05 · The workaround

CMS export and an upload form, in place of an API

With no native Framer API at the time, we used the CMS file export. The team exports the collections and drops the file into a simple upload form; the map component syncs from it.

03 · Results

The whole portfolio, readable at a glance.

Visitors find properties by area on the map instead of paging through a list.
Reserved and sold units are filtered out, so buyers only see what they can still get.
The team keeps editing listings in Framer CMS as before; the map updates from the upload.
Built on top of the existing site, without another migration.
